If you’re interested in knowing how Diythemes made Thesis even faster, read on. The new version makes only two requests for stylesheets compared to three requests previously. And if you’re a “speed freak” like me, you can reduce this to a single http request for an even faster page load. Go to Site Options → Stylesheet Options and un-check “Use Design Mode”. This combines all your stylesheets into one. And what is the bottom line? Less http requests means faster page loading, and that helps your SEO ranking.
